Keysafe's Transformation: Unleashing Potential with Shopify

Keysafe, a prominent online retail enterprise specialising in security solutions, was operating its ecommerce platform on Magento. However, they realised the need to migrate to a more user-friendly, scalable, and feature-rich platform. As a result, Keysafe decided to transition their website to Shopify and sought the services and experience of Uncover Commerce.

Challenge

The primary challenge was to design a custom Shopify theme and develop an intuitive user experience, catering to the unique requirements of two distinct customer groups: individual homeowners and commercial businesses. Additionally, we were tasked with creating a custom Shopify app to simplify the selection and purchase of installation services to improve the user journey and increase sales.

Our team of experienced Shopify designers and developers began the project by conducting comprehensive research and analysis of Keysafe's target audience, products, and brand identity. This allowed us to create a bespoke theme that resonated with their brand and accommodated the user journeys of both customer groups.

Custom Theme Design

The custom Shopify theme was designed with a responsive layout and a clean, modern aesthetic to ensure a seamless browsing experience across devices. To accommodate the different user journeys, we implemented separate navigation paths for individual homeowners and commercial businesses.

For individual homeowners, the theme featured a straightforward product display with detailed descriptions, customer reviews, and intuitive navigation to guide them through the selection process. For commercial businesses, we provided a comprehensive resource hub, including product specifications, bulk pricing, and industry-specific security solutions.

Custom Installation Shopify App

To streamline the installation process for customers, our team developed a custom Shopify app that helped customers choose and purchase installation services. The app integrated a postcode search feature which determined and displayed a list of available installation services and their respective prices.

The app allowed users to book and pay for installation services directly through the website, eliminating the need for separate transactions or follow-up communication.
