Tell us a little bit about what you were doing before joining Uncover Commerce
After spending years working in the hospitality industry I decided that it was finally time to do something more creative with my life; a week later I was studying for a BA in Graphic Design. Since graduating I have worked for various companies, focusing on UX/UI, Graphic Design and more recently the CRO of websites.
What’s your favourite thing about what you do?
Finding the balance between form and function, especially as technology evolves. The ability to stay creative every day.
What do you do in your free time?
If I’m not in an art gallery/museum you’ll most likely find me out somewhere near the sea! If it’s not too cold I’ll go for a surf. I also enjoy bouldering and a good Sunday on the sofa watching a film.
What do you do to turn things around when you’re having a bad day?
I’ll take my dog for a walk and get some fresh air. (Watching legally blonde always does the trick too..)
What is the most unbelievable thing that’s ever happened to you?
Having to have one of my lungs removed at 23, surreal experience!
What’s something you’ve done, but will never do again?
Meeting the Dalai Lama – is probably a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
Which actor would play you in a movie about your life?
Either Abbi Jacobson or Maya Hawke, their personalities are spot on.
