Tell us a little bit about what you were doing before joining Uncover Commerce
I previously worked as an English teacher and taught in several countries across Europe from Spain to Lithuania. I've worked as a developer since 2021 when I fell back in love with tech and made the career change.
What’s your favourite thing about what you do?
The satisfaction of solving a complex problem while learning is by far my favourite part of web development. Each project is made up of many puzzles that lead to a constantly growing knowledge base and improved skills.
What do you do in your free time?
I love to read, practice karate and play D&D with friends. I'm also addicted to language learning , especially minority and endangered languages.
What do you do to turn things around when you’re having a bad day?
I practice Karate or get lost in a podcast.
What is the most unbelievable thing that’s ever happened to you?
I got stuck living in a desert in the south of spain during the pandemic, without air conditioning. I believe I almost melted .
What’s something you’ve done, but will never do again?
A non-stop multiday bus journey across central and eastern Europe.
