Chris is joining our team as an eCommerce Developer! He will be working remotely from Glasgow. Read on to learn more about his experience and passion for building online businesses.
Tell us a little bit about what you were doing before joining Uncover Commerce.
Before Uncover Commerce, I was working as a Full stack web developer at an ecommerce agency start-up
What’s your favourite thing about what you do?
Being able to turn something from a design concept into a working product and hopefully some problem solving along the way
What do you do in your free time?
Typically in my free time i spend it either going to the movies or playing games with friends ( CS:GO, Valorant or Overwatch). Sometimes i work on some personal projects if there is a need for it or I have the inspiration to make it
What do you do to turn things around when you’re having a bad day?
I typically hang out with friends, go to the movies, play games or take my dogs for a walk.
What is the most unbelievable thing that’s ever happened to you?
I went on holiday in 2009 and when we landed in Spain, it had just hit the news that the airline we flew there with had just went bust and we were "stuck" there for a few more days and i was in the newspaper because of it.
What’s something you’ve done, but will never do again?
I decided to pick an overly complicated project for my dissertation that encompassed machine learning and i had to figure out how to do it in a very short time period and also be knowledgeable enough to write about it.

What’s one song you have completely memorised?
I typically listen to Electronic music so there isn't really any lyrics to them
What’s the first concert you ever went to?
Not a fan of large crowds in small space so concerts are not really for me
